RSS Feeds

Now you can easily add RSS headline feeds as objects to myList! Below are some tried and tested feeds you can add.

Pre-Built Feeds

Make your own Feed Object

It's easy to bring your favorite news feed right into myList:

  1. Use the Create button () to make a new object
  2. Give the object an appropriate name, and perhaps a link to the site where the feed is hosted.
  3. In the Descriptive text box, type "RSS feed:" followed by the URL of the RSS feed. For example, to create the Slashdot feed object given above, you would type "RSS feed:http://slashdot.org/rss/index.rss".
  4. Click the Add button, and you're done!

The errors visible on the first view of the headlines are normal. All subsequent views will present your headlines; clicking on a headline will open the story in a new browser window.

Note: The RSS feed capability assumes a level of standards compliance from feed providers. Your mileage may vary from feed to feed.
