10/15: Woodstock's & Facebook…

Basically…that was my day…I hung out at Woodstock's and got some work done prepping the rest of the tour, enjoyed some high-quality pizza and learned more about that lovely site, Facebook.

10/16: AG) Part 2…

These guys really put the word out and got a good sized crowd out in their front yard. Outdoor show on the deck, the crowd was awesome and the new "emotional statement" got a great response (seriously…if you haven't heard the new cover you need to come out…). We were just getting to really know each other and feel comfortable and then I had to leave (tear).

I am SO looking forward to my next visit down there!

Oh yeah…I ALMOST had a girl call the !!! But she didn't put in the right area code…and then, when I told her the right area code and let her know she could try it again, she said, "Oh, no, that's okay…" Crappers…

10/17: The police don't like it when you drive and play guitar at the same time…

Wrote a new song, "I Wish", en route to L.A. for my show at Universal Bar & Grill…where the promoter never showed and (obviously) didn't promote it. BUT…I got to hang with my good friend Jalin and have REAL Chinese food…so real that SHE didn't even know what I was eating. It tasted good though :)

10/18: Booyah…D-Land

I was SO excited today! Early start because I went and saw Jalin's performance that day (did I tell you she's a famous actress?)…which was extremely entertaining…she sang beautifully :) And then…I cruised through thick L.A. traffic with my coffee, my donut, some old-school jazz, wearing sunglasses, heading to Disneyland…can it GET any better?

Keep your ears posted for the Disneyland challenge…

10/19: Um…Disneyland?

Yeah…I went again…

10/20: Come out, come out wherever you are…

This place was ridiculously hard to find!!! The sign wasn't lit so…yeah. Made it hard to know if there was something going on. The other band decided to post their time as when I finished so their people all came through the door while I was playing, yelling at one another…it was bad. And she was doing the same thing. Please…bands and artists (and patrons, for that matter)…some basic rules of performance:

1. Set the time for your show for when the show STARTS not when you go on…that way the other performers have the benefit of your guests as well :)

2. Don't talk during the performances

3. Tell your buddies not to talk during the performances

4. If you must get up…do so in between songs…it's just polite :)

5. Encourage people to stay after your set…the other artists will appreciate it.

6. Don't spend 1 hour doing set-up/sound check…people will leave :)

10/21: The Viper is coming…

Steve was great. Steve was the bouncer. Steve was a great character whom I would write into a story/movie if I ever do that again. The Viper Room was…well, The Viper Room…great feel and atmosphere to the place…I'd love to play again…and not dead last :)

Has anyone noticed…I have had police action in EVERY city I've been in so far…

1. San Francisco – I actually found out that I had run a red light on one of the streets (which, I DID NOT) but got a ticket in the mail anyway.

2. San Jose – Fix-it ticket for registration

3. San Luis Obispo – Speeding ticket trying to get to Taco Bell before it closed

4. San Diego – Pulled over but let off…

5. L.A. – Nothing…but the time's not up yet?
